Bowel Screening Kaiawhina

 

Whanganui Regional Health Network (WRHN) outreach team is seeking a Kaiawhina to predominantly support Maori and Pasifica peoples to access the National Bowel Screening Programme. The position is centred on finding and supporting Whanganui District Health Board regions’ 60-74 year olds to participate in the programme.

WRHN is looking for someone who is passionate about promoting health equity and who has excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Previous experience working within a community setting will be an advantage.

Whanganui Regional Health Network (WRHN) is a Primary Health Organisation that focuses on ensuring people in our community have access to a wide range of primary care services.  WRHN has an established salaried LMC service operating in our subsidiary company Taihape Health Ltd and is establishing a Marton based service, and seeking to provide further LMC services to support women within Whanganui city and northeast rural communities.
